THE INEVITABLE TASTE (DEATH) – Zainab Sani Uba-tela (Nana)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent the most merciful. I seek refuge with ALLAH against the mischief of evil.

Peace and blessings be upon our holy prophet Muhammad S.A.W. the world is ending and last day is continuously alarming us, but unfortunately some people are blind and adamant to the commandments of Almighty ALLAH despite the assurance of Allah S.W.T, that every soul shall taste death! As provided in chapter:3 verse 185 Ali ‘Imran

” Everyone shall taste death and only on the day of resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the fire and admitted to paradise, he indeed is successful the life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception( a deceiving thing) chapter:21 verse 35 Al-Anbiyah ”

Everyone is going to taste death, and we shall make a trial of you with evil and with good and to us you will be returned

chapter:29 verse 57 Al- Ankabut ” Everyone shall taste the death then unto us you shall be returned” Yet some muslim brothers and sisters choose to transgress the commandments of the Almighty ALLAH without due care and consideration in so many aspect of life, SubhanalLah!

On this premise, I pray that ALLAH make our good health beneficial to us: the ability to see with our eyes. The ability to speak with our tongue, the ability to walk with our legs, the strength and energy to perform task.

Because even if we have all this aforementioned abilities yet we use it to go against the commandments of ALLAH then its useless to us as we can’t see the truth, we can’t strive in the course of ALLAH nor use our strength to earn rewards in order to be successful in the hereafter subhanalLah! As we all know there are many more people that have lose all this abilities hence for you that is blessed with it, You ought not to use them in committing sins like back biting, drinking alcohol, committing zina, committing homicide and other social vices.

Moreover there are others among our muslim brothers and sisters that take usury which is vehemently prohibited by ALLAH S.W.T as provided in chapter 2 verse 276 ” ALLAH will destroy riba (usury) and will give increase to sadaqat (deed of charity, alms etc) and Allah likes not the disbelievers, sinners” in another verse chapter 3 verse 130 ” Oh you who believe! Eat not riba (usury) doubled and multiplied, but fear ALLAH that you may be successful” for whoever take riba (usury) in his business is like committing suicide SubhanalLah! My dear muslim brothers and sisters in trade and other business transactions fear Allah and strictly stay away from riba and Allah will provide for you from places you never imagine as He promise in the holy qur’an ” Wa man yattaqil Lah Ya ja’allahu makraja wa yarziquhu min haisu la yahtasib” in another hadith of jabir R.A the messenger of ALLAH S.A.W cursed person who accept usury, its payer, one who recorded it and witnesses. And they are all equal ( in sin) reported by muslim Hadith No. 1598.

Therefore who ever partake in such act means his/her musiba is in deen subhnalLah! ALLAHUMMA LA TAJ’AL MUSIBATANA FI DININA, WALA TAJ’AL DUNIYA AKBARA HAMMINA, WALA MABLAGA ILMINA WALA ILAL NAR MASIRANA, WAJA ALAL LAHUMMA JANNATA HIYA DARANA WALA TUSALI’D ALAINA BI ZUNUBINA”

Further more some of the loose minds among brother and sisters fall into the act of shirk (associating partner with ALLAH) subhanalLah! Despite so many different warnings and pronouncements by the Almighty ALLAH that whoever associate partner with Him will not be forgiven and will also face the severe wrath in hereafter.

So its normal to have trial in other worldly things but the greatest Musiba is the trial of deen. May Allah protect Us.

Ameen! as we are all born out with fidra (devine guidance) I pray that Almighty ALLAH take our life when He is most pleased with us. Ameen!

In conclusion, this world is nothing but an avenue of challenges and trials, and no one knows when his/her time will end;

next second? Next minute? Or next hour? SubhanalLah! therefore as a muslim always try to strive in the course of Allah and pray well for His rahama in order to live successful in dunya and also enjoy in the hereafter.
