RAMADAN IS AT THE DOORSTEP- Zainab sani uba tela (Nana)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the most merciful. Peace and blessings be upon our holy prophet Muhammad S.A.W. As the holy month is fast approaching, I’m using this medium to remind my fellow muslim brothers and sisters to make the best use of this sacred period through reshuffling daily schedules that encompasses activities to do from subh to Iftar with an effort of boosting our iman (Good faith) and taqwa ( Consciousness of Allah)
It is in this month that Many muslim are promoted to the highest rank in jannatul firdaus. A lot will be forgiven of their sins, many doors of Rahma will be opened by Almighty Allah. Is on this premise, I call upon My Muslim brothers and sisters to tie their belt and prepare well to ripe these golden opportunities granted by He, the omnipotent. Do not allow mere engagements and leisures to take away or prevent us from forming part of the beneficiaries. Hence, offer the best of efforts and increase more act of ibadat for they are those deeds that Allah S.W.T loves the most and that which will fetch abundant rewards to us. We should adhere to all the principles of islam in this Holy month of Ramadan. Such as observing good sahur (as prescribed by sunnah), waking up early for nafil (voluntary prayers) for the sake of our parents, our relatives, our neighbours, our Nation. Then pray for ourselves, I put ourselves as last as the prophet said ”whoever pray for others, the angels will pray same for him” May Allah grant us ease, success, answer all our prayers and grant us khair fid duniya wal ahkira(Here and Hereafter)
We should eat our sahur with what Allah has blessed us before fajr prayer is been called, then perform raka’atanil fajr As the prophet said ” khairun minal duniya wa ma fiha” is the best of blessing in this world and what’s inside it, as for the male brothers go to the mosque while for the sisters pray at home, after subh prayer as we’re taught by our prophet PBUH “do not immediately go back to sleep wait until the daybreak” pray salatul Duha ”walha’” as it’s also among one of the greatest Nafila in islam, then do your morning Azkar. Developed the habit of reciting the Holy Qur’an during the day, you can recite like 5 pages or so after every obligatory prayer, if you’re a man with a lot of hectic commitments, you’re still not left out, you can make it 2 or 3 or even 1 is better than reciting nothing subhanallah! you can also make use of your smartphone as an alternative, because we can equally use our smartphone to either get reward or sin so we should make the best use of it. Do alot of zikr, tasbih and salatin Nabiy S.A.W.
If you’ve a means give lots of charity to needy, alms giving, you shouldn’t wait till you get more or become the most richest person in the world my Muslim brothers and sisters you can start with the little you have, by delaying that means your faith is weak and shaitan has overpowered you subhanallah ”la ya ruddul khair illal Shaitan” shaitan will always hinder you from helping others, from helping Muslim brothers and sisters that are in need of your help,we shouldn’t allow that. we should all strive in the course of Allah in Ramadan and after, as every act of Ibadah is multiply by Allah in this wonderful month of Ramadan, we should all partake in it,we shouldn’t be left behind, if everyone of us is well determined among to help his/her neighbors, less privilege and the orphans, who have no one to feed them, imagine how quickly it will rotate, imagine how many soul we will touch and the reward in the hereafter is immeasurable Alhamdulillah, we should all be well determined and have a heart of a good Muslim brothers and sisters, we should be guided by the teachings of our Holy prophet PBUH and His sahaba (companion) how they live throughout their lives striving in the course of Allah, My Muslim Brothers/sisters good Neighborhood is Paramount in islam as islam teach us Brotherhood, our prophet PBUH said if a person among you died whatever his family and neighbours testify about him will be recorded by the angels, also the way our beloved Prophet emphasized about good neighbourhood the sahaba (companion) thought that the prophet will say that a neighbour will inherit his neighbor, imagine tempting, hurting or eating in Ramadan and that person have nothing to eat even a pitch of Date Subhanallah, My Brothers and sisters in islam we should be cautious of our hearts and action, remember this world is not permanent, unto our LORD we should all return and we will all be accountable for our deeds, remember if we died we will have no opportunity to come back to this world and rectify our Deeds.
The prophet PBUH swear about 3 things that must happened among which is:
Any wealth that’s use in giving sadaqa(charity)Allah will put Barakah (blessings)in it, wealth is never tarnish by been given out in sadaqa(charity)unless that ill intention put inside your hearts by shaitan.Subhanallah! My Brothers and sisters in islam do not allow shaitan to woo your heart, do not allow him to lead you astray, fight him with your good Hearts, that’s why we asked Allah SWT to cleanse our heart ”Allahumma ati nufusana taqawaha wa zakkiha anta khairu man zakkaha anta waliyyu ha wa Maulaha ”this is a wonderful prayer my Muslim Brothers and sisters in islam as we cannot carryout our good action except if we have a clean hearts. so technically by this Du’a you’re saying ”Oh Allah give my heart the ability to fear you, make my heart to fear You, give my heart the ability to have Your consciousness, and also purify and cleanse my heart, for you’re the best of those who purify and cleanse my heart and protect, guide my heart for that You are the LORD of my Heart” with this Du’a InshaAllah we’ll be able to overcome every temptation of shaitan and his abominations.
In another Hadith of the prophet PBUH he said that “the most strongest among you is not the one who can defeat others in a fight, but rather one who can control his heart, the one who own his heart that’s it’s not the heart that owns the him”.
Then we asked what’s the ability to control our hearts? It’s when our heart permit us to commit that which is forbidden and we retaliate by fearing our LORD and the punishment of Hereafter, by depriving our heart from stopping us from doing a good act, an act which will earn us reward from Allah SWT,we are strong enough that our heart will not bring ill presumptions or stop us from doing good deeds, if we are able to do that then we can say we owned our Heart MASHA ALLAH.
QUR’AN 2 BAQARAH VERSE 245 ”who is he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan so that HE May multiply to him many times, and it is Allah that decrease or increase (your provisions) and unto Him we shall all return” My Brothers and sisters in islam what a beautiful verse from the Holy Qur’an, Allah want nothing but the best for us Muslim brothers and sisters, Allah promise that whoever lend a goodly loan to Him. He will multiply it for him on the day that there’s nothing except Allah’s pleasures upon those He granted it to, May we be among them InshaAllah, we asked ourselve does Allah need our money or charity? Absolutely no!subhanallah, the verse is technically saying that who’s that, that’ll use his wealth, health, power and everything in the course of Allah and Allah will multiply for him, we shouldn’t be overpowered by shaitan in the course of helping others with what we have no matter how little it is,as it’s Allah that’ll increase or decrease our earning and provisions, whoever use what Allah has blessed him with in the course of Allah, Allah will increase his means and whoever denies Allah will decrease his means,as everyday two angel from the Heaven come down to this earth praying, one is saying ya Rabba whoever use to give others increase his means and earning and whoever refused or denied others ya Rabbi don’t give him” imagine our Lord commanding the angels to pray for those that use to give for his sake.
The prophet in another Hadith said the hand that use to give is as the top while the hand that collect is at the down, my Muslim brothers and sisters won’t you like your hands to be at the top by providing others with the little of what you have?
We should have good faith, at the end ”wa ilai hi turja’un” into our LORD we’ll all return, in our grave, our wealth, children and power will not benefit nor rescue us ”yauma LA tan fa’u malun wa LA banun, illa man attal laha bi qalbin salih” only our good deeds will. subhanallah! only a good sadaqah(charity) given for Allah’s sake, only our salat (prayers)we did with khushu’i God’s consciousness, only a good fast(sawm) we performed with Iklas will rescue us, it’s only a good believer that will have an utmost peace and Allah’s Mercy in his grave, we should all clean our grave when we’re still alive, as the grave is clean unless that which we put and carried with us inside it.
May Allah grant us with the ability to witness Ramadan with good faith, health and sound mind, as many people may not be able to witness Ramadan, even me I’m not quite sure of witnessing the holy month..subhanallah! May be among those that’ll witness Ramadan, May we be among those that’ll be forgiven in the Holy month of Ramadan, May this Ramadan be the reason for us to change for better, to be good and virtuous believers even after Ramadan.
ALLAHUMMA BALLIGNA RAMADAN BIL AMNI WAL IMAN YA RABBAL ALAMEEN.
I pray this Ramadan to be beneficial to both muslim mankind and that each Muslim believer benefit from this May Allah SWT include my parent in the reward, as they’re the reason of whom I am today, tomorrow and till eternity.
ALHAMDULILLAH.
Allahumma gafirli Abi wa a fi him wa af’anhum wa adkhil him fil janna tul Firdausi ya Rabbal Alameen. ”May ALLAH forgive My father, grant him everlasting ease and Rahama in his grave, make him among those that’ll be alleviated this Ramadan, and make him among the Men of Paradise. Ameen!
To my Mother jazakhillah khairan, you’re the most strongest woman and you continued to be, our iron woman, our pillar of support, our role model, our super woman, May Allah keep seeing you through each faith, May He guide you against the evil of shaitan and Bad eyes, May He keep supporting and lifting you up May He grant you jannatil Firdausi, long life, health, prosperity and Lot’s of blessings.
RAMADAN KAREEM✨❤️
